Protecting Paradise Cove Together.

Paradise Cove Fire Safety is a community driven effort to prepare our homes and fund the equipment and resources to prevent and fight wildfires.

We live in a close community in Malibu that has faced serious fire danger, including the Woolsey Fire in 2018 and Franklin and Palisades Fires in 2025. To step up our community’s fire protection, we are partnering with All Risk Shield, a private fire company, while continuing our resident-led preparedness and response efforts.

We are raising $130,000 for our Phase Three Emergency Safety Fund (ESF3) through the Paradise Cove Homeowners Association (PCHA). We need every homeowner to participate, because protecting Paradise Cove requires all of us working together. This fund is vital to keeping our homes, and our one-of-a-kind community, safe.

WHAT WE DO

  • PREPARE

We help residents harden their homes against wildfire through practical tips, checklists, and community education for our neighborhood.

  • RESPOND

We train and equip residents and volunteers to safely assist during fire events, supporting our neighborhood response.

  • PROTECT

We partner with All Shield Risk private firefighters to provide professional on-the-ground protection for our community.

When the Woolsey Fire swept through Malibu in 2018, our residents stood their ground and saved our homes with little more than determination and a few hundred feet of hose. In the months that followed, our community came together to raise Emergency Supply Funds in 2019 and 2020 to buy firefighting equipment.

That response built the foundation we have today: essential gear, a team of trained firefighting volunteers, and coordinated prevention measures. Now, as wildfires grow more frequent and intense, we’re entering the next phase - expanding our protection through a partnership with All Risk Shield, adding professional crews and equipment to strengthen our community-led efforts.

Community-powered protection.
